Bay (Flex 86BY)
Designed for single-room installation, the Flex Bay Fireplace Insert features three open sides that enable the hypnotic flame to be viewed from the front and both left and right sides, providing an alluring focal point from multiple vantage points.

Each burner holds 9L of fuel and can deliver a stunning flame for up to 13 hours.

The Flex 86.BXL and 86.BXR comes with a Decorative Box on the left or right-hand side and an XL1200 Burner.
The longest of the XL Burner series, the XL1200 delivers a stunning linear flame. With a 10L capacity, this elongated burner can heat up to 65m2 and provides the ideal bioethanol fire for commercial and hospitality spaces such as open-plan restaurants and bars.
Each burner holds 10L of fuel and can deliver a stunning flame for up to 14 hours

The Flex 86BY.BX2 includes a design that features Decorative Boxes on either side of the firebox and an XL900 Burner.
One of the most popular of the XL Series burners, the XL900 burner delivers a stunning linear flame. With a 9L capacity, this elongated burner can heat up to 60m2, making it ideal for larger residential and hospitality spaces such as open-plan restaurants and bars or hotel lobby areas.

Burn times for our ethanol fireplaces vay based on flame size and fuel capacity of the burner. EcoSmart FireāsĀ ethanol fireplacesĀ will burn between 8-13 hours when full.
What is bioethanol fuel?
Bioethanol (also known as methylated spirits or simply ethanol) is a form of renewable energy. Itās a clear, colourless liquid thatās commonly made from fermenting the sugar and starch components of plant by-products like sugarcane and grain crops.
Why use an ethanol fireplace?
AnĀ ethanol fireplacesĀ is an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to gas fireplaces and wood burning fireplaces. Enjoy the warmth and aesthetic benefits of a traditional fireplace without the smoke, soot or ash in your home. How large of an area will my ethanol fireplace heat?
The heat output of ourĀ indoorĀ andĀ outdoorĀ ethanol fireplaces vary based on the model selected. When used indoors, EcoSmart FireāsĀ ethanol fireplacesĀ comfortably heat between 215 sq feet and 700 sq feet.

Bioethanol, a renewable energy, is the cleanest and most efficient fuel on the market, which means there are no emissions and no soot or ash to clean up.
How do I clean my EcoSmart Fire ethanol burner?
Cleaning of theĀ ethanol burnerĀ should be done only after you have used 50 litres of fuel or as soon as you notice a black residue forming around or on the burner. Before starting, make sure the burner is off, empty of ethanol, and at room temperature. Spray a multi-purpose cleaner on the surface of the burner and wipe with cloth, making sure to wipe in the direction of the grain. If material has fallen into the ethanol fireplace burner use a vacuum cleaner to remove debris through the burner opening. If your burner smells unusually strong after extensive use, remove the empty and room temperature burner from its surround and wash in hot, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly under running water and wait until the burner is completely dry before placing it back into its surround and reusing. Note: Stainless steel will rust or corrode over time if contamination or debris is not cleaned or removed immediately. When not in use, we recommend that you protect your ethanol fireplace from water damage or corrosion with a protective cover and the regular use of the burner lid included with your model.
Where is the best place to install an ethanol fireplace?

How to install a TV or AV equipment above an ethanol fireplace?
This design can be achieved as long as the TV is protected. You have 3 possible solutions:
Solution 1:Ā The TV needs a non-combustible mantel/ledge to act as a heat shield
Solution 2:Ā The TV needs to be recessed in a niche
Solution 3:Ā The TV needs to sit back off the level of the flame
